Every bride to be wants to have the most beautiful face on their wedding day. There are so many products and procedures out there designed to help your face look great. While that can all be very expensive, not everyone wants to afford that kind of face. To help make sure you have the perfect wedding day face here are the ten products and steps you will need.

1. Exfoliate

The night before your wedding make sure you exfoliate your face and moisturize directly after. It feels so silky smooth when you finish and helps with the makeup application the day of. Make sure you use a lightly abrasive exfoliant as a rough one can create red marks or damage your skin. Microdermabrasion is a great choice.

2. Sooth

A nice soothing face mask is the best way to start your wedding day. It feels great and helps take away any redness or puffy areas on your face. Cucumber masks are the best because the cucumber is a natural anti-inflammatory. You can purchase a variety of these at the store or look up a recipe online.

3. Moisturize

Choosing the perfect moisturizer can pose somewhat of a challenge with all the varieties available. For your wedding day you are going to want a great lightweight moisturizer that does not make your face feel sticky. Most health shops or drug stores have an inexpensive vitamin C moisturizer which is a great choice.

4. Protect

Protecting your face is one of the most important steps and this is when you apply your foundation. Make sure you use a foundation that you feel comfortable with or are accustom to. A great mineral foundation or lightweight cream help your natural beauty shine while protecting your skin from damage.

5. Touch Up

This is the time for specifically targeting those trouble spots with a tube or stick of cover up. If you do not have one already I find that the liquid form is easier to layer in areas that need more attention. Then once you feel that the spots or areas are neutralized you can add a little foundation over the top to bring the whole pallet together.

6. Highlight

With the use of a little bronzer you can give your face a completely natural look. While some people really pack on the foundation, hopefully you were able to keep it light. Then all you need is a tiny bit of glow all over your face. Choose a light powder bronzer that is as close to your skin tone as possible.

7. Define

Eyeliners are a great way to define your eyes in the three steps assigned to making your eyes stand out. Try not to go for something too harsh like black. Instead go for a light brown or dark brown that is just a few shades darker than your skin tone. This will be much softer for bringing out your natural beauty in the daylight.

8. Bring Them Out

In order to bring out your eyes use a natural colored eye shadow duo that has a skin color shade and one about as dark as the eyeliner. You will want to apply the light colored all over your eyelids and up to the eyebrows. Then you use the darker color from the eyelid up to the crease in your eye. Then use a makeup brush or Q-tip to blend the dark color into the lighter one (sometimes you have to use more of the light color).

9. Glam Up

This is the time to break out brand new fabulous mascara. There are so many cool mascaras out there with special brushes to lengthen and perfect those lashes. Try not to use too dark of a mascara so get brown or black/brown if you are wondering which color to buy. Do not go for blue or green for your wedding day. However, make sure it is waterproof because your wedding day is sure to be emotional.

10. Finalize

To complete your look make sure you have a great lipstick and lip gloss duo for your wedding day. There are so many long lasting types out there. The most important thing is that the lipstick is a great neutral tone for your skin tone. Try a mauve if you have a lighter skin tone and mocha if you are a darker skin tone. These are natural and perfect for the wedding day look.

After you finish all these steps you will be surprised how wonderful it feels to have all your natural beauty highlighted. While dark eyeliner and rainbow colors are fun when you go out at night. Your wedding day is a day when less is more when it comes to makeup. Have fun putting your perfect wedding day face on and have a wonderful big day.
